The Distribution Center Maintenance Supervisor ensures ensures that sortation system, conveyors, building requirements, ammonia system, and support systems are maintained at the highest efficiency level possible.
- Manage New Jersey TCPA ProgramEnsure that State of New Jersey requirements are always in compliance. Work under guidance of State Licensed Gold Seal. Supervise state licensed refrigeration mechanics (Blue and Red Seal). Ensure that TCPA (Toxic Catastrophe Prevention Act) written program is kept up to date and changes are made accordingly. Act as a primary lead for state TCPA audits and corrective action planning.
- Manage Sterling Audit: Responsible for the Cold Chain environment of the New Jersey DC. Ensure all temperature critical control points are maintained.
- Manage budgets for building and repair, maintenance, supplies, third-party support and spare parts inventory.
- Maintain adequate on-hand inventory supplies to support sortation system. Monitor expenses and purchase actions.
- Obtain quotes to build strong vendor relationships; ensure that the best cost is being provided.
- This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Have at least 3 years of work experience performing maintenance functions in a fully automated high-speed production facility.
- Have strong technical working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, ammonia, energy management, material handling, and conveyor systems.
- Have a working knowledge of PLCs and high- and low-voltage systems, including 480V three-phase, and computer-controlled automation.
- Be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
- Have computer skills including Windows, maintenance database programs, and Maintenance Connection.
