Overview:

Summary

Manages day to day operations on completion and intervention locations to ensure safe, efficient and cost effective deployment of completions on the rig.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides reports of operations and safety incidents to supervisor on a daily basis.
Supervises the initial completion and intervention operations with specific focus on operational excellence including HSE compliance, risk management, reliability and efficiency.
Meets all pre-defined well objectives while maintaining an incident free operation.
Ensures compliance with all applicable government regulations and company policies.
Manages logistics for personnel and equipment to and from location.
Provides accurate daily reports to superintendent and engineering team utilizing completions reporting system while maintaining accurate cost control.
Takes active involvement and continuous support for onsite safety programs and initiatives.


Assists in mentoring of less experience personnel.


Supervisory Responsibilities

This job will supervise work of service team members/contractors and completion operations.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.


Other Qualifications

Experience in hydraulic stimulation, wireline, or coil tubing.

Strong emphasis on safety of personnel and assures compliance with all applicable government regulations and company policies.

Experience in personnel mentoring & training.
