Job Skills / Requirements

POSITION PREFERENCES & FUNCTIONS:
Team player with personal commitment to YMCA Mission, Philosophy & Character Development Values
Preferred age, 21 and older
Ability to lead and teach group activities in an outdoor environment to staff and campers
Leads staff in group songs, games and crafts, and engages campers in learning activities.
Possess a willingness to work with youth and have FUN.
Operate with a “Safety First” mentality; ensuring all staff are following appropriate protocols
Organize and lead weekly field trips.
Communicates daily with parents in a professional manner that represents the Y.

STARTING SALARY: $13.50/hour
STATUS: Part time; Non-exempt
