POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The person will:

• Assist PI with grant writing and management
• Assist PI with editing research articles and preparing poster presentations
• Perform literature searches
• Create and manage databases and prepare data for analysis
• Create and organize study binders
• Collect data including parent, teacher and clinician forms
• Order study supplies
• Submit annual protocol summary forms and consent forms to the Institutional Review Board (IRB)
• The individual will be overseeing all study protocols. This position reports directly to the Director of PRIME.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience

• 
  BA/BS in biology, neuroscience, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.5
• Completion of pre-health track requirements
• At least one year experience in basic or clinical research
• A track-record of successful program management and coordination
• Experience in performing neuroimaging and neuropsychological studies and assessments

Skills and Competencies

• 
  Research theory training/experience (through previous research lab experience)
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Organized, resourceful, and detailed-oriented
• Strong multi-tasking, project and time management, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Familiarity with the NIH (or other sponsor) grant submission process to assist PI in submission of grants
• Familiarity with IRB protocol and consent submission process
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office

The Psychiatry Research Institute at Montefiore Einstein (PRIME) is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support the day-to-day activities of the PRIME research studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology, neuroscience, or a related field, broad familiarity with in performing neuroimaging and neuropsychological studies, and prior experience with grant submissions, literature reviews and analyses, and program management and coordination. They will be responsible for scheduling, management, subject recruitment, and administrative coordination of several studies investigating adolescent psychopathology using neuroimaging, blood analysis, and clinical study methodologies. This position takes direction from the Principal Investigator, Dr. Vilma Gabbay, and post-doctoral fellows to assist in facilitation of laboratory activities and implementation of research protocols. Candidates should be highly collegial, independent, and motivated.
