Benefits & Perks Options Manages, oversees, coordinates, and evaluates courses offered at area high schools for the purpose of providing dual credit. Facilitates the creation of courses, coordinates the registration of students, and manages operational compliance of the program. Works with a diverse population of both external and internal administrators, faculty, staff, students and the general public. 25% - Facilitates the management of staffing and scheduling of courses including the addition of new courses at partnering high schools? serves as liaison to establish and maintain productive working relationships with Dual Enrollment partners. Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, sociology, business administration or related field and five years of progressively responsible student services or related experience that includes such things as administration of policies and procedures, program oversight and two years of supervisory experience. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Job Summary
25% - Manages the outreach and information/direction on recruiting, partnership expansion, increasing certificate/degree enrollments & registration? prepares reports, participates in department planning and team meetings.
25% - Analyzes and evaluates assigned high school program partnerships. Manages the registration process with partners? conducts preliminary review of high school curriculum to determine appropriate dual enrollment courses requiring basic computer skills? monitors and applies rules and regulations as established by the District and the State for program compliance.
15% - Collects and conducts preliminary review of the credentials of high school teachers to determine qualifications? conducts testing and registration for dual enrollment classes at area high schools.
10% - Coordinates the payment processing? facilitates professional growth for dual enrollment faculty? maintains confidential personnel records; performs other duties as assigned.
B. Experience with college registration policies, procedures, and systems
C. Experience with standard office practices, and computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and databases
D. Working knowledge of K-12 and/or post-secondary education
E. Effective written and oral communication skills, including presenting to large groups
F. Experience in marketing, outreach or recruitment
