JOB SUMMARY:
Hillrom Latam is seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager who will be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies to establish brand consistency, drive market adoption and help increase sales for all business units. This includes developing and managing marketing plans, communications, and promotional programs for acute and turnkey construction markets across all business units; determining and monitoring the Return on Investment (ROI) of marketing and sales programs; data analytics; developing and implementing differentiated value propositions; determining the optimum pricing strategy; forecasting and market analyses; assist with Field Corrective Actions (FCA’s); and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs and Quality.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Other duties will be assigned:
- Responsible for managing the relationship and daily operation of Hillrom’s agencies of record to execute on market penetration initiatives.
- Accountable for driving revenue goals and measuring ROI on marketing activation initiatives.
- Responsible for brand strategy and execution, web properties, social media, digital demand generation, solutions marketing, and events execution
- Proficient with brand management and development to ensure our brand voice and identify is reflected in every initiative is launched in the market.
- Work directly with the product managers and commercial team to be a sounding board of the different needs in the market and provide strategic guidance and governance for the execution of marketing programs.
- Design, develop, implement, and monitor marketing and sales programs/campaigns for distributors in the acute channel
- Develop, manage, and be responsible for budgets, performance, timelines, and product launches, including detailed pre/post-program ROI evaluations with quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Collaborate with Sales Leaders to develop and manage performance management tools and integrate with CRM system (Salesforce) to optimize the sales channel
- Work with internal partners to support RFPs and contract submissions
- Analyze market research and trends, identify potential opportunities and threats, and gather competitive intelligence to develop differentiated positioning and strategies
- Provide short- and long-term market forecasts and reports, including sales and supply chain forecasts
- Identify and evaluate cross-promotional and integrated marketing opportunities with other internal business units and external partners/suppliers to support annual marketing plans
- Collaborate with our Global associates to refine materials for the Latam market, where necessary
- Identify and recommend opportunities for the improvement of processes and performance
- Knowledge of advertising regulations and guidelines would be an asset
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- A minimum of 8 years of marketing experience
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and experience in successfully facilitating large group meetings
- Strong multi-tasking ability and comfort with leading initiatives across multiple areas at the same time
- Comfort with ambiguity, self-starter, results driven, competent managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Adept at leading, influencing and communicating with diverse x-functional teams
- Fluent in English and Spanish
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:
- MBA or other master’s degree
- Product & Brand Management experience
- Field Sales experience helpful
- Healthcare industry experience in medical device or pharma
- Ability to synthesize and simplify clinical data and technical information
- Proven track record of driving results with strategy development and execution
- Digital marketing experience
- Fluent in Portuguese
