The Recreation Services Lead is responsible for partial facility access tasks and assists with the daily operations of Recreation Services. This position works closely with the Recreation Services Coordinator - Operations and staff members within Stanford Recreation & Wellness to assist in enhancing the customer service experience and overall daily operations. The systems required to perform the job are Lenel, Outlook (for email), Innosoft Fusion and administrative capabilities for the Recreation Services Staff Resource page. This position is 20 hours per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assigning and updating access levels on Lenel based off CS Gold reports
  • Coordinating with Stanford Hospital Social Workers to provide facility access for hospital guests
  • Replenishing supplies such as first aid, office supplies, and equipment for all recreation services desks when needed
  • Maintaining lost and found inventory and log
  • Coordinating with programs such as Stanford Martial Arts, Squash Club, and Health Improvement Program (HIP) to modify access levels for patrons
  • Create access levels on Lenel that correspond with HIP classes and schedules
  • Transition all manually assigned memberships to Innosoft Fusion upon Access Control software transition
  • Responding to general inquiries about facility access
  • Work closely with the Card Office when troubleshooting ID issues
  • Troubleshoot Alumni Membership issues by backtracking through register systems
  • Develop, share, and implement ideas on how to improve overall daily operations
  • When leadership is out of office, serve as acting leader within Recreation facilities
  • Assist in leadership of Recreation Services contingent staff

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • American Red Cross First Aid & CPR/AED certified, or obtained within 3 months of hire
  • Ability to perform physical labor which includes running, standing and lifting materials or equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Mandatory attendance at all staff meetings and additional in-service training sessions

Compensation: Starting at $18.68/hour
