Position Summary: Seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented SCM IT Planning Expert with experience in SAP IBP, APO Planning System to join our GIS Business Analyst Functional and Process group. The candidate must have a strong understanding of Demand Planning, S&IOP process used in End to End Supply Chian business process having a strong integration knowledge considering product life cycle. The candidate should have at least 8+ years of experience working in an IT organization preferably Biotech, Life Sciences, or related industry in configuring, deploying and managing SAP ERP with a focus on SCM Planning modules & Business processes. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Global Process Leads, Solution Design Leads and Value Stream Leads on issue resolution and process design recommendations Identify and implement process improvements. Collaborate with the global customer solutions and GIS team to evaluate support requests. Gather and analyze requirements to determine if the best solution. Provide routine updates to the global team in regard to upcoming enhancements, bug fixes, and improvements to the business system to support regulatory audits, efficiency improvements, and additional functionality. Lead and influence cross-functional teams to develop improved processes and communication in support of business initiatives Escalate appropriate decisions making requirements or process "choice points" to Global Process Owner and GIS Leads Ability to articulate or demonstrate perspectives and experiences Ability to deliver high-quality outcomes particularly under tight timelines Open to new ways of working, adopting industry standards and best practices Performs other duties as required Requirements: 3+ years of SAP IBP experience preferred Familiarity or exposure to demand planning models and understanding and usage of statistical algorithms Understanding of master data needed for demand planning including customer and product hierarchies Experience in Demand and Supply Planning solution evaluations and application in planning and scheduling processes Familiarity or exposure to business and technical processes of inventory management, supply planning, production planning/scheduling and replenishment planning processes Experience with planning and forecasting for large projects and programs IT leadership experience with demand planning projects Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP ECC, SAP APO and MS Project Strong influencing, facilitating and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments Consulting background a plus Experience with Supply Planning, S&IOP, DRP, MPS as roles within the business Education: Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred Field of Study in Computer Science or Information Systems
