Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering is required, Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering is desired
- 5+ years of Structural Engineer experience, managing projects and designing for commercial/industrial buildings.
- SE Licensed Structural Engineer, preferably in the state of California
- Design knowledge and experience
- Experience in structural design and detailing with concrete and steel buildings is required.
- Experience in tilt-up construction is a plus
- Use computer design and analysis programs including Ram Structural, Ram concept, ETABS, SAFE, Mathcad, spColumn are desired.
- Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations
Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction
- Manage projects and engineering teams to complete projects on time
- Inspect project sites to monitor progress
- Work as a liaison between departments to improve function and communication
- Determine compliance with standards
- Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work
- Implement design or process improvements
- Coordinating and scheduling the work and activities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
