The WorkingWell team, part of Amazon’s Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) organization is changing the way we ensure safety and wellness of our field associates. And, the WorkingWell Technology team is a critical partner in enabling these initiatives. We have just started scratching the surface and are aiming to build or integrate products and programs to reinvent the way Amazon anticipates, assesses, and manages workplace wellness and associate experience. We are looking to build our Wellness tech capabilities using technologies ranging from wearable tech, AR/VR, computer vision and building personalized wellness experiences with an app. We are seeking a dynamic, organized self-starter to join the WorkingWell Technology team as a Sr. Software Development Manager. The ideal candidate would be comfortable with ambiguity, and excel at building highly scalable technology solutions. The individual would also have a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.

Strong judgment and communication skills, long-term technical and product vision, continuous focus on inventing on behalf of customers, and implementing engineering and operational excellence practices are essential for the success in this role. You will have a strong delivery record and leadership experience of owning, influencing, architecting and executing technical products and programs. You understand the business problems, automation limitations, systems requirements, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and have experience making build vs buy decisions. This position will also have a strong focus on finding and identifying technical solutions that exist outside of the company and bringing the right ideas back to Amazon.
