Sr. Manager, Process Management - MORE

As a Senior Manager of Process Management, you will lead a team of process managers in delivering flawlessly executed processes that improve business efficiency and drive results. You will create and modify processes while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You will monitor data trends to measure effectiveness and install necessary benchmarks or thresholds to ensure data integrity. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each and every time.

We are seeking dedicated, disciplined, process professionals who excel in a team environment and are experts in process improvement. This individual will have demonstrated that they can improve company processes in the past, resulting in saving time, costs/expenses, risk mitigation, process automation and resources for the company. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, strategic influence, complex problem solving, prioritization skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate a team in delivering flawless execution and timely delivery of process improvement projects.

General Responsibilities:

  • Managing and leading a high performing team of associates

  • Provides clear vision and strategy for team of associates and stakeholders

  • Creating and validating processes while developing and maintaining formal process documentation including procedures and process flow diagrams

  • Exhibit strategic influencing skills to effectively drive project & process deliverables

  • Designing and producing metrics used to measure efficiency and effectiveness

  • Driving process improvements aligned with desired customer outcomes

  • Analyzing, identifying, and correcting data issues with systems used or owned by a department

  • Providing subject matter expertise on processes when representing the business in projects and other meetings

  • Leading and owning oversight of process improvement work and collaborating with stakeholders on larger initiatives

  • Collecting data and information and using analytics and reporting to provide transparency to senior leadership and executives

  • Identify and implement process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activities

  • Anticipates problems and proactively attempts to solve through process evaluation and timely resolution of process breakdowns

  • Understands customers’ needs of the process and drives process improvements

  • Developing and maintaining formal process documentation including procedures and process flow diagrams

  • Acting as a subject matter expert to effectively partner with project customers to achieve desired outcome or improvement by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions

  • Build strong relationships and drive effective communications that are proactive, succinct, accurate and timely across stakeholders and to promptly identify & remed

  • Demonstrate end-to-end understanding of key processes and systems and how it fits into the larger ecosystem in order to anticipate impacts from changes in procedures or process

  • Designing, developing, and managing process initiatives in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements

  • Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project & process management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.

  • Builds trust, anticipates impediments, and strategically influences at all levels

Candidates must live within 100 miles of one of our hub sites in McLean, VA or Richmond, VA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in Process or Project Management

  • At least 5 years of experience in People Management

  • At least 3 years of experience in Director+ communication

  • At least 3 years of experience in AGILE and Jira Software

  • At least 3 years of experience in Google Suite Products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree

  • Process Management certification (BPM, PMP, CPM, Lean, Six Sigma)

  • 6+ years of experience in Process or Project management

  • 6+ years of experience in People management
