JOB FUNCTION: As a Senior Human Resources Generalist you will plan and administrate policies relation to all phase of human resources activities, provide human resources services, including workforce planning, compensation, benefits, safety and health, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations; completing personnel transactions. At this role, you will be the primary support for the Human Resources Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resources or related fields.
EXPERIENCE: 4-6 years of relevant working experience in Human Resources field.
LANGUAGE: Proficiency in English & Mandarin is a plus.
SKILLS:
- Fluency in federal and state labor law such as FLSA, California Wage Orders, OFCCP regulations regarding pay, minimum wage, and the Equal Pay Act.
- Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, time management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization, decision-making, and planning skills. ·
- Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve sophisticated and sensitive HR issues/problems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology organization where ambiguity, agility, and flexibility are valued daily.
- Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- HRIS knowledge
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates payroll process, confirm and submit payroll deductions and changes.
- Responsible for compensation and benefits administration (group health insurance, workers' compensation, COBRA and etc).
- Works to ensure alignment and execution of operational HR delivery including, but not limited to payroll, performance management, employee relations, safety, and compliance.
- Manages and support performance management, compensation, market data surveys, as well as key components of the year end process.
- Performs and document market trend research including development of salary increase budgets, promotion/adjustment budgets and administration, analysis and etc.
- Supports management change initiatives and collaborates with people managers to support their operations.
- Files timely government compliance reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
