The Sr. Financial Analyst will develop, maintain and analyze operational and statistical data to be used for business analysis across the entire enterprise. The Sr. Financial Analyst will serve in a consulting capacity for the finance organization to assist leadership in the communication and interpretation of results, management of expenses, development of appropriate business cases, and the direction of tactical action plans. Additionally, the Sr. Financial Analyst will act as a liaison between finance leadership and other business entities ensuring strong interconnectivity across the broader enterprise. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: · · Ability to build advanced models to measure financial data, prepare written narratives and/or presentations to explain outcomes and share recommendations to management and peers. · Possess the understanding to apply advanced mathematical concepts to solve problems and prepare reports for analysis · Partner with other business areas and take lead on special assignments and projects to assist in the further growth of the company · Advanced technical capabilities will be required to improve infrastructure, automate processes, and leverage technology to provide additional finance bandwidth · Analyze key financial drivers and effectively communicate those results to finance leadership and key stakeholders to guide decisioning efforts and improve optimal outcomes · Lead the execution of regular financial forecast and provide those projections to finance leadership while also playing in a support role for broader analyst team · Deliver timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and trends, forecasting and/or modeling, to assist the Controller and CFO in performing their responsibilities · Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to finance organization · Be an advisor from a financial perspective to business partners · Effectively communicate with others and lead positive change across the finance enterprise · All other duties deemed appropriate by management Education & Qualifications · · Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Statistics, Computer Science or other related fields, MBA a plus · Minimum GPA of 3.2 · Minimum of four years of relevant financial experience, preferably within the insurance sector · Excellent oral, communication, and time management skills · Project/People leadership experience a plus · Advanced mathematical and analytical thinking ability and a robust understanding of general business financial applications · Showcase the ability to predict market trends, analyze statistical research and understand implications of current markets · Natural decision maker, problem solver, and demonstrates wiliness to tackle challenging workstreams/projects · Strong technical, financial modeling and forecasting expertise · Can foster transformational change and growth within a finance culture Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: Schedule: Education: Experience: Company's website: Benefit Conditions: Work Remotely: COVID-19 Precaution(s):
