Job Summary


To help practices achieve the Healthcare Quadruple Aim, StratiFi Health leverages information, data, analytics, and applications across multiple systems and sources to measure and change behaviors. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst collaborates with stakeholders and developers to develop and maintain BI solutions for measuring performance; Performs basic and complex analyses to monitor health care quality, fiscal soundness, and return on investment; This position will report directly to the Business Intelligence Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for interpreting, translating, and prioritizing data reporting needs from other teams (i.e. clinical and field operations) to create data reporting requirements clearly that are understandable by the developers.
  • Participates in the QA to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized
  • Work with and facilitate communication across various teams (data, operations, revenue cycle, etc.)
  • Define key performance metrics to support book of business, value-based contracts, quality measures, the gap of care opportunities, patient engagement metrics, and other quality programs and initiatives
  • Deliver reports, dashboards, executive-level summary reports, and presentations to effectively communicate program performance to stakeholders
  • Provide consultation and training to users on the BI reports.
  • Prototypes solutions for displaying information based on business needs.
  • Investigating data using SQL and BI tools to discover patterns and trends or anomalies and draw valid conclusions
  • Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
  • Develops and utilizes standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications.
  • Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
  • Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally or through written documentation — to stakeholders to understand issues and solutions
  • Able to collaborate and contribute as a strong team member, and have good communication skills, orally and in writing.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Deep understanding of ACO, MSO, CIN, and/or payor quality, population health, performance, and operational metrics
  • Medical Industry experience is required
  • Minimum 3-4 years prior BI analyst work experience
  • Strong knowledge of Excel & relational databases and SQL
