Description

Position Summary: Aramark is seeking a professional Spray Technician to perform fertilization and chemical applications on high-profile college campus at Jacksonville University. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform the chemical and fertilizer applications on assets force by turf management program.
  • Monitor landscape health and care needs. The Tech diagnoses primary turf problems and basic pest identification.
  • Maintain proper documentation as required by The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
  • The Tech must take a proactive approach to safety by attending all required field safety training and utilizing proper safety equipment.
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
  • Must be able to adhere to safety procedures to do physical risks
  • Requires frequent lifting, moving, carrying, pushing, pulling of over 50 lbs
  • Requires frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Work involves exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures
  • Two to three years of experience in Fertilization and Chemicals preferred.
  • Must have a sense of ownership of responsibilities.
  • Must be able to diagnose insect and disease issues in the field.
  • Background check and drug screen is required.
  • Must possess T&O License or obtain one within 60 days of employment
