This per diem SLP position (weekends and holidays) conducts comprehensive assessments of inpatients with disorders of swallowing, communication, tracheostomy tubes, voice and cognition in the acute care environment.
This position reports to the Director, Speech Language Pathology under the Department of Otolaryngology. This position is not for a CFY, a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA is required.EDUCATION:
Work requires a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Work requires a current SLP license by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and ASHA certification.
Work requires a current CPR certification.
