Sourcing & Supply Chain Consulting (Coupa Specialist) Senior Associate
POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Associate performs procurement advisory services with a focus on the selection and implementation of key functional software including, but not limited to, Ariba and Coupa. Coupled with technology deployments, ability to identify areas to apply advanced technologies, such as AI and ML. In addition to technology deployments, performs advisory assessments across the source to pay process, working with clients to drive efficiencies through process changes, policies, and technology implementations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project involvement focused on deployment of key procurement software technologies
Support pursuits and practice development initiatives
Develop external eminence across sub-capabilities
Collaborate on innovative solutions to support the future of the practice
Source to Pay Process Assessment and Improvement initiatives
Design, implementation, and on-going operations and maintenance of SAP-Ariba and/or Coupa applications and technology.
Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
Other duties as assigned.
EXAMPLE PROJECTS INCLUDE:
Assist with assessing client’s current source to pay process and technology infrastructure. Develop recommendations to improve future state source to pay process enabled through repurposed / new technology infrastructure.
Source to pay business case development and performance measurement
Technical / complex project involvement across e-procurement technology implementation including, but not limited to, Buyer / Invoice, Contract Management, Spend Visibility, and Supplier Lifecycle and Risk management
Configuration and technical design
Requirements documentation and quality control
Integration strategy
Help to lead cross functional firm and / or client teams
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Two to 6 years of work experience implementing Coupa and/or SAP Ariba.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field required; Master’s degree desired.
Functional/technical proficiency with at least 3-5 full lifecycle SAP-Ariba and/or Coupa implementations in a consulting capacity required; additional relevant industry experience highly preferred.
Coupa certification preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong current hands-on configuration and design skills in Ariba and/or Coupa.
Interest in modern Procurement tools and their usage within Procurement departments.
Entrepreneurial and self-motivated attributes to thrive in environments that reward self-initiative and resourcefulness.
Ability to adjust to shifting priorities and meet aggressive deadlines as needed.
Comfortable presenting information to large groups of people, facilitation meetings, and leading group discussions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel and Project).
Maintain a good working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work with client management and staff at all levels.
Must be willing to mentor junior staff.
Ability to travel on short notice and work additional hours as necessary.
Travel percentage: up to 80% domestically, or as needed.
