Role description

As a Version Control & DevOps Solutions Sales Specialist you will be a senior solution sales leader within our Create Sales Organization working with our most important customers. Working with Unity’s Sales Teams, you will lead a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to advance the sales process and achieve or exceed quarterly revenues for the Version Control & DevOps Solutions. You will need to support customers to remove roadblocks to adopt, deploy, and drive customer satisfaction along the customer lifecycle.

40% of your time will be spent with customers identifying and surfacing new engagements that align with the customer’s business strategy. You will work together with Unity’s sales force, and professional services teams, partners, as well as use Unity’s core products, targeted account lists to identify and engage prioritized customers. You will be required to be disciplined in business-management, adaptable to a culture of accountability and build a strong and active business network.

40% of your time will be spent on being the key technical leader, trusted advisor and influencer in shaping customer decisions to buy and adopt Unity Version Control & DevOps solutions. You will own winning the technical and business decision makers at customers for sales opportunities and usage scenarios, through tailoring your message, bringing ideas to customers, engaging with them to show our technology differentiation, and guiding them in decision making. You will lead presentations and solution demonstrations to explain and prove to our customers the capabilities of Unity’s Version Control & DevOps solutions, and how we can make their businesses more successful. You will drive customer satisfaction along the customer lifecycle by monitoring the impact and satisfaction levels of the solutions deployed.

Qualifications:

Professional

  • Experience. Experience selling business solutions to medium/large customers with a focus on Version Control Systems and Development pipelines, in gaming, VR/AR/MR or 3D customers.
  • Account Management. Effective territory/account management: planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication, needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management, pipeline management, and deal negotiation required.
  • Problem Solver. Ability to solve customer development workflow and pipeline’s problems through Version Control & DevOps technologies (Project Management, Issue tracking, Continue Integration, Testing)

Technical

  • Version Control Systems: Understanding of the main version control system in the market (Plastic SCM, Git-based systems, SVN and Perforce) and/or complementing solutions. The position requires the ability to articulate and demonstrate the business value of Unity’s solutions and have a firm understanding of Unity’s strategies and products relative to major Unity’s competitors preferred.
  • Leadership. Experience leading large Version Control deals especially in Gaming, VR/AR/MR or 3D in vertical markets.
