Title: Solutions Architect/Node Architect Location: Plymouth Meeting, PA Salary: Up to $150K base – no bonus Domain: Mortgage/Real Estate Update from the manager: I haven’t been getting a ton of traction on this position, so I wanted to make a bit of a clarification. The position is more of a hands-on solution architect role rather than a managerial role. This person will own the architecture of the application, and ensure that this vision of the architecture is being accomplished. The managerial side is primarily mentoring and reviewing code of fellow team members. I’m open to talking to people currently in a lead role that have designed systems, but do not have “management experience.” In fact, we can even make the title Solution Architect if a candidate is afraid they will be getting too far from the tech side of things. The reality is this is a very technical, and often hands-on role, so I’m more focused on the person’s technical knowledge rather than management qualities. They are fine with the majority of the work done remotely.candidate should live in the Greater Philly area. Role is hands on and will also mentors developers. This is a very technical position, so we’re looking for someone that can function as a solution architect, while also managing a team of 2 onshore and 1 or 2 offshore developers (Europe) in a Scrum environment. The target salary for the position is around $150K, and they need extensive Node and AWS knowledge. They do not need Ruby experience, even though the old system was written in Ruby. We’re not looking to reuse that logic, and instead start completely greenfield. Solutions Architect My client has a full time opening for a Solutions Architect. This is a newly created role due to their continued growth. Role can be mostly remote however, candidates MUST live in the Greater Philly area. This position will also involve mentoring and code review of other team members. They are seeking someone out of an Enterprise environment. You will be involved with development projects as well as lead and mentor the development team including onshore and offshore resources.
