SOLUTION SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT- Washington/Remote

Ellumen, named a 2022 Top Workplace by the Washington Post, is a small business headquart is seeking an electronic health record (EHR) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist with ensuring the successful execution of the sustainment of the Military Health Systems' Genesis EHR (based on Cerner Millennium) software to the applicable treatment facilities. The position is located at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters Building, in Washington DC. Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Public Trust Clearance
Required tasks: - Provide advanced Peer-to-Peer engagement with DoD Solution Owners and VA Solution Experts in support of review, endorsement, and/or validation of Defense Health Agency (DHA) changes to the system on behalf of the Coast Guard.
- Provide advanced Peer-to-Peer engagement with DoD Solution Owners and VA Solution Experts in support of review, endorsement, and/or validation of Coast Guard changes submitted to SaAB, Joint CCB on behalf of the Coast Guard.
- Provide Coast Guard final tier of escalation above local Super User, Sustainment Trainers, and Ticket Liaison support for governance-related issues prior to engagement and escalation to DHA.
- Support translation and development of Coast Guard specific policy instructions, manuals and directives related to Coast Guard use of the MHS Genesis system.
- MHS GENESIS subject matter expertise support shall focus on (but not limited to) the following core components of the MHS GENESIS solution suite:
- RevX/RevCyle
- Dentrix
- Power Chart
- Pharmnet
- Pathnet
- Up to 20% travel may be required
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
- Five years of experience supporting healthcare initiatives and projects
- Extensive EHR platform experience in platform such as Cerner Millennium or Epic, preferably in the military setting
- Knowledge of EHR Workflows
- Knowledge of EHR Revenue Cycle
- US Citizen with ability to obtain pubic trust clearance
- Knowledge of business processes and information management needs of medical organizations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Desired Qualifications: - Three years of experience working in the military healthcare environment
- Understanding of the unique informatics architecture of the military
- Understanding of large applications, database, and queries
- Clinical degree (i.e. RN or LPN) is a plus.
