Modernizing Medicine is seeking a Sales Trainer who will be responsible for elevating the sales performance of Modernizing Medicine by assessing, designing, developing, delivering and measuring a comprehensive training program.

Your Role:

  • Onboard and train new sales team members.
  • Assess training needs through interviews, sales team meeting call participation, and direct relationships with our sales team members including: sales development, sales executives, territory managers, sales solution specialist and sales leaders.
  • Customize the onboarding process to individual learner needs and backgrounds.
  • Assist and later own the redesign content management process for our World Class Sales Organization (WCSO).
  • Develop and manage a growing library of training content.
  • Create evidence-based learning experiences that enhance sales performance.
  • Provide sales and technical product expertise and become a subject matter expert on all ModMed commercial products and services.
  • Optimize sales systems training including salesforce, CPQ, Conga, SalesLoft.
  • Be smart and resourceful: find problems, design solutions, build relationships and drive execution.
  • Be brave, take chances, seek feedback, and get better.

Skills & Requirements:

Education & Certification:

  • MEd or MBA, required.
  • CPLP, CPTM, strongly preferred
  • PMP, preferred

Background & Experience:

  • Proven successful work experience in a Corporate Trainer role delivering technical software training across various audiences.
  • Software sales training experience preferred.
  • Experience delivering effective, results-oriented training in various settings including: in-person, virtual, as well as asynchronously through assignments.
  • Demonstrated successful experience with improving adult performance through knowledge increase and behavior change in a demanding, performance driven setting.
  • Hands-on experience capturing, creating and editing video.
  • Previous demonstrated success collaborating across a wide range of internal corporate functions and seniority levels including: sales, sales operations, support, customer success, project management, implementation, account management, marketing, finance, and legal.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the ADDIE model, and demonstrated ability to perform every step of the model.
  • Strong knowledge of Andragogy, transformational learning and experiential learning.
  • Understanding of optimized adult learning concepts such as Cognitive Load, Bloom's Taxonomy, microlearning, and optimized training delivery.
  • Demonstrated understanding of knowledge management principles.
  • Ability to simplify complicated concepts and reduce cognitive learning load.
  • Familiarity with basic coaching principles such as GROW.
  • Post graduate command of the English language in both written and spoken form along with the ability to assess and coach others in tactical communication.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with strong knowledge of various presentation techniques.
  • Advanced graphic design and infographic creating skills using a variety of tools.
  • Ability to lead by example and demonstrate correct sales behaviors.
  • Strong learner orientation, performance drive and improvement focused.
  • Ability to make training fun and engaging.
