Job Responsibilities

As a member of Viasat’s Test SW team, you will assist in defining the high-level testing strategies, while implementing the low-level applications and tools which make those strategies possible. This includes implementing CI/CD pipelines, standard libraries, and unit tests while leveraging software development best practices. Experience developing software in a team environment using version control, build automation, bug tracking, test driven development and similar processes/technologies.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
• Demonstrated ability to implement algorithms in python, C#/C++ or LabVIEW
• Experience editing documents both in MS Office and Wiki markup
• Able to commit to a 10-12 week summer internship

Preferences

• Strong communication skills
• Familiar with test instrument communication
• Familiar with LabVIEW or TestStand
• Familiar with Visual Studio
