Modern cloud platforms provide robust messaging services to connect applications, connect IOT devices to the cloud, and observe events as they happen in the real world. We’re looking for a dedicated, creative distributed systems expert to help us realize our next wave of innovations in Cloud Messaging Platforms. Some of the challenges you will tackle involve enable horizontal scale for event driven applications, help customers succeed in using their favorite serverless platforms to host their business logic, absorb the complexity of load spikes, fan-out without compromising E2E latencies.

Your core responsibilities would include:

• Leading development on features from the front, driving the development lifecycle for ambitious features from prototype/inception all the way to widespread customer adoption.
• Generating software specifications, proof-of-concepts, and prototype solutions given high level feature requirements.
• Working closely with team members to unblock each other and share learnings and knowledge.
• Using data and telemetry to improve feature work and propose feature improvements to existing products.
• Working in constant communication with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 
  3+ years of building commercial grade, robust and scalable solutions in C#/C++/C or any other object-oriented programming
• Solid CS fundamentals, including fluency with multithreaded and asynchronous programming.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing Cloud online services or extensive experience using cloud online services
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Mathematics or Physics or IT technical discipline
• Experience working with messaging and stream analytics technologies, including open-source technologies like: Kafka, Active MQ, Flink, Spark, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
