Job overview:

Basis Technology is looking for an experienced Software Development Project Manager to help grow our products. You must be an independent problem solver with excellent customer, technical, and organization skills and enjoy learning new products and technologies.

You will be responsible for the management and execution of client-facing software development projects using Rosette, our cutting edge AI and natural language processing platform.

For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of data analytics, SaaS/PaaS products, and enterprise software development. Experience with data-intensive applications like search or natural language processing (NLP) is a huge plus. You should be a well-organized self-starter willing to own the successful delivery of highly technical projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full life cycle project management of a wide variety of client IT projects.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of customer needs and our products to contribute to solutions that meet customer needs and increase customer satisfaction
• Provide end-to-end project management for customer engagements and cross-functional internal projects.
• Support the sales organization with cross-functional scope definition and budget preparation for proposals.
• Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and present executive status summaries
• Help implement and improve our product development process
• Work closely with engineering staff to ensure strict adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, and to ensure successful project execution.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a Top-Secret/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• 5 + years of experience in managing large scale software development projectst
• Knowledge of computational linguistics, NLP, and/or data science a plus
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• Strong customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture processes including DODAF, FEAF and TBM
• PMP, ITIL, CSM, or SAFe certification preferred

Salary: $100,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
