Job Title: ?Software Developer
Location: Remote (Work from Home)
Purpose statement:
The Software Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining software utilized in customer integrations as well as internal software utilized by the IDT formulation and packaging groups.
Essential Functions:
Produces and maintains functional software to meet customer needs using internally adopted design, development and project management methodologies.
Communicates closely with customers to determine/gather business requirements.
Analyzes and translates business requirements into functional and technical system requirements
Creates and maintains documentation pertaining to software development and projects.
Works with customers to develop test plans and user acceptance test cases for quality assurance.
Monitors and responds to software problems and works to resolve them as quickly as possible.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education or relevant experience required; B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or related IT field preferred.
Experience using C# required
Professional Experience:
Two years of experience with a .Net language (VB or C#) is preferred.
Experience with current relational database products required; experience with MS-SQL server preferred.
