Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112 bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. Roxbury is currently recruiting for a Social Worker. The Social Worker provides clinical social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center and the NASW. The Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments of the patient’s mental health and drug and alcohol history; individual, group, and family therapy; active participation on the treatment team; lead role in the development of the master treatment plan; developing realistic and measurable short and long term goals; and assumes responsibility for coordinating with other agencies involved with the patient the discharge and continuing care plans.

Roxbury Treatment Center is a STAR LRP-approved facility. STAR LRP is a Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program, and is intended for individuals working in either a full-time substance use disorder (SUD) treatment job that involves direct patient care in a county where drug overdose death rate exceed the most current national average overdose death rate per 100,000 people, as reported by the CDC; or Mental Health Professional Shortage Area. As such, staff with 6 or more years of service would be able to have their student loans paid off (up to $250,000).
