Overview: the Social Worker provides a range of personal and academic counseling services to students and supportive services to their families in a collaborative attendance improvement and dropout prevention program. The Social Worker utilizes a youth development model that actively engages young people and supports academic success through individual and group counseling and related activities. The Social Worker is fully integrated into the life of the school.

Reports To: Program Director, Monroe high school
Location: 1300 Boyton Ave. Bronx, New York 10472
Hours: 35 Hours/Week; Exempt Monday-Thursday 1pm-9pm and Friday 8am-4pm / 10 months position September until June
