In this Inpatient Social Worker position you will provide social work interventions for our Inpatient Medical Center patients and family needs.
  • Coordinate discharge plans and/or care plans for in/outpatients, including developing plans for ongoing treatment through services and agencies
  • Perform a psycho/social assessment for continuity of care planning for in/outpatients
  • Provide short-term adjustment counseling to assist with emotional, social, and economic stresses of illness and disability.

Qualifications:

  • Master's of Social Work from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Registration with the state of Washington as either a Licensed Social Work Associate (LSWAIC), Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Social Work Associate Advanced (LSWAA) or Social Work Advanced (LISW)
  • May consider an Agency Affiliated Counselor with the expectation of active pursuit of their Social Work Licensure.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of individual and family dynamics and the ability to perform psycho/social assessments
  • Understanding of systems and how to work within systems
  • Understanding of the impact and implications of disease and the course of disease
