Social Media Operations Lead, Collaboration and Communication Details

Overview: Group O is seeking an Operations Lead, Collaboration and Communication for a Fortune 100 client to work closely with internal stakeholders and with cross-functional management teams to lead and contribute to the Partnership, Innovation & Engagement team’s overall vision, strategic communications roadmap and narrative development. The ideal candidate is a dynamic visionary who will support our team’s internal and external operations and communications through strategic, impactful and authentic storytelling. Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Innovation and Operations lead to help lead priority initiatives and define medium and long-term strategy and objectives
  • Project manage key initiatives to include internal communications including, but limited to, email newsletters, communications guidance documents, policy and training documents for the social operational functions, and others
  • Drive best-in-class external-facing communications including, but not limited to, experiential and Brand sponsorship activation messaging, marketing collateral, news releases, fact sheets, and social/digital content (primarily LinkedIn)
  • Draft executive presentations on a regular cadence to highlight team achievements around key business priorities
  • Synthesize team project updates and achievements in weekly status copy for executive leadership
  • Conduct research for brand discover-ability, operations, and innovation projects, as needed
Qualifications: Education and/or Experience:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Education, Business/Administration, Advertising, or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in corporate communications, brand communications or media preferred

  • Excellent project management skills with a focus on detail
  • Excellent leadership skills with comfort in presenting to executive leadership and multiple levels stakeholders.
  • Excellent spoken and written command in English
  • Ability to create effective relationships, influence and collaboration at all organizational levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Comfort in navigating ambiguity, drafting messaging and being the person who steps in to build clarity
