We are looking for a responsible Social Media Manager to assist in the growth of the brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms. Unique Threads is a custom suit brand based in Atlanta, GA. We specialize in menswear, our product include suits, sport coats trousers and the like. A Social Media Manager will help create content calendars, develop and distribute text and video-based content, monitor social media channels and support promotional and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities may include

  • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns to increase followers on popular social media websites such as Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites
  • Help create content as dictated by the monthly editorial calendar to promote sales, blogs and products
  • Distribute content such as blogs, infographics, testimonials, videos and press releases on social media and other outlets
  • Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
  • Interact with followers and potential customers by communicating and answering questions through the company's social pages

Skills

  • High School degree required. Bachelor's degree in digital communications or related field such as advertising or Journalism preferred
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Experience with the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, LinkedIn etc.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance
  • Experience with content management systems and image/video editing software
  • Familiar with multi-social posting through programs such as Hootsuite and HubSpot
  • Comfortable with working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content

An ideal Social Media Manager will have an in-depth knowledge of social media platforms. The intern will be comfortable creating and managing multiple social media accounts, developing content to inform, educate and engage the brand’s audience to increase awareness and achieve marketing goals. An exceptional candidate will have a working knowledge of the major content management systems and social media analytics, and be experienced in running targeted ads on social media sites.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
