We are looking for a talented Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist to create and maintain a strong online presence for our company. Your role is to implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts. If you are a tech-savvy professional with an interest in communicating with 10-20 new clients monthly through online channels, we would like to meet you. As a Social Media Digital Marketing Specialist (SMDMS), you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.

Simply The Best Digital, a leader in digital marketing, seeks an immediate hire of a Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist to work with our busy client-facing team. This position reports to the Director of Digital Marketing. This position requires an accountable and talented candidate who will work closely with members of the digital team as well as all departments at Simply The Best Digital.

Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist (SMDMS) is a “hands-on” position for all digital marketing tactics. The SMDMS also needs to demonstrate expertise in SEO in addition to creating, managing and optimizing paid advertising accounts for a wide variety of clients using search engine marketing with an emphasis on Google Ads, display marketing and remarketing, paid social media marketing, and video advertising. The SMDMS will produce comprehensive monthly reports and strategic insight. We are looking for someone with experience in all these areas, but also someone who is willing to dive in and learn new skills as needed.

The SMDMS is responsible for communicating results and strategy to clients directly and to the sales representative (who is their main client point of contact in the company). We want all our digital marketing to drive real results, and the SMDMS is responsible for showing those results and communicating them in a way that excites our clients.

The SMDMS collaborates with various team members within all the departments to ensure that the deliverables are implemented, and the accounts are achieving their objectives. The SMDMS communicates regularly with the Director of Digital Marketing, the sales team, and the executives and must be able to clearly articulate a strategic vision. The SMDMS must be creative as well as data-driven, and ultimately responsible for managing client expectations and communicating success.

Responsibilities

  • Research audience preferences and discover current trends
  • Create engaging text, image, and video content
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
  • Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
  • Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Social media coordinator
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
