LMC was incorporated as a landscape management contractor in April of 1980. We provide professional landscape management through maintenance, installation, irrigation and tree services. The company has grown steadily over the years, currently servicing over 1100 commercial accounts including office buildings, industrial properties, townhome and condominium associations, banks, churches, schools and shopping centers.

LMC is looking for a small engine mechanic for the Southeast Houston area, next to the Hobby Airport.

Essential Duties

• Diagnose and repair of lawn and garden equipment, and vehicles and trailers.
• The small engine mechanic must be able to diagnose, using the appropriate technical manual procedures.
• Perform complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning, also have basic electrical skills.
• Report work required on equipment to the Service Manager, for proper and safe operation
• Bring to the attention of the Service Manager any shop tools, equipment or vehicle that is not in a serviceable condition or is unsafe to use
• Small engine mechanic is in charge of basic maintenance to vehicles, edgers, and riding lawn mowers

Job Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a related field
• Driver's License required
• Experience working with 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
