Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital is looking to add an Emergency Veterinarian to join our team in Woburn, Massachusetts. No overnight shifts are included in this position and only every other weekend is needed! We are looking for a talented, energetic, personable individual with strong communication, interpersonal skills, and emotional competencies to be a contributing member of our growing veterinary team. It is our belief that if we take care of each other first, we will provide outstanding, empathetic service to our clients, referring veterinarians, and the community. Our 36,000-square foot hospital, located 11 miles north of Boston, is home to one of the premier level 1 emergency and specialty centers in New England. The hospital is well equipped including a 1.5 tesla Philips MRI, 64 slice GE CT scanner, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, fluoroscopy, mechanical ventilation, complete on-site diagnostic laboratory, comprehensive surgical facilities, and a dedicated ICU department. Our emergency department consists of 20 internship-trained veterinarians, 4 board certified Criticalists, 4 residents and 2 emergency specialty interns who provide high quality care 24-hours per day. Our specialties include internal medicine, radiology, surgery, neurology, ophthalmology, cardiology, anesthesiology, dermatology, and pathology. We also have a vibrant physical therapy and rehabilitation department with two physical therapists and an on-site compounding pharmacy.
