Position Summary:

A Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)/Sleep Tech works under the supervision of the Director of Neurodiagnostic Services and the Medical Director (MD, DO, or PhD) to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography diagnostic and therapeutic services, scoring, patient care and education. A Registered Polysomnogrpahic Technologist can perform the duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician by the BRPT and may provide supervision of other staff.

Qualifications:

• Requires current license by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians, basic to intermediate computer skills, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, the ability to read, write and speak English, BLS certification and RPSGT certification.
