Riverside Community Hospital, Founded in 1901, is a 478 licensed bed, full-service acute care hospital in the heart of the Inland Empire. RCH has been recognized as a Top Performing Hospital and has invested in a new campus expansion project that includes a new 7 story patient tower, 3 story medical office building, and a recently completed 5 level state of the art parking garage. Position Summary: Functions as a member of patient care team in providing competent care to patients according to their individual needs. Coordinates patient care and delegates responsibilities to team members within their scope of practice and competencies.

Qualifications



POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:
  • Valid California RN license.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • ACLS due within 30 days of hire
  • National RN Certification preferred
  • PALS Preferred

Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience:
  • StaRN program is required for all new graduate RN position into the Critical Care departments.
  • StaRN PLUS program may be required if most recent ICU experience was less than one year and/or previous experience in a facility with a Trauma designation of level III – V.

Special Qualifications:
  • Computer literate
  • Competencies are reflected by valid California RN license and are validated during preceptor/orientation process
