Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing, a member of the NationaLease system, is looking for a Service Island attendant/Fueler Washer positions to perform fueling and washing of company owned units along with the clean up and repairs to the yard and facility along with pick up and delivery of company assets from customers and vendors. Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL withing 120 days of hiring. Opportunity for advancement into the shop performing Preventative Maintenace Inspections and light repairs. What You’ll Do Shop Helper/Utility Job Duties: The Shop Helper/Utility is responsible to fuel and clean equipment at the fuel island while at the same time conduct a multipoint point fuel island inspection along with accounting for product dispensed. The Shop Helper/Utility is responsible to communicate to the appropriate personnel if a vehicle fails the inspection immediately. The Shop Helper/Utility is responsible for washing and cleaning equipment as instructed and park said equipment in the designated space after the wash is completed. What We’re Looking For Must have valid Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a CDL in 120 days. Training will be provided.
Maintains Fleet equipment and Branch operation by completing inspections, washing, fueling, correcting vehicle deficiencies, making adjustments and keeping records.
The Shop Helper/Utility will also be responsible for general house cleaning of the fuel-island, wash bay areas and shop work areas.
The Shop Helper/Utility is responsible to pick-up and deliver parts, trucks, drivers, or any other situation which will help maintain customer satisfaction at the direction of the Branch Manager or Service Manager.
