Leading 90-year-old Queens Metal Fabrication Company is seeking experienced shipping / receiving clerk for full time position. If you are a team player who is dependable, well-organized, and unafraid of getting your hands dirty this position is for you.

Primary Responsibilities

• Shipping & Receiving
• Packaging & Labeling
• Check in/receive materials, including verifying quantities and checking for defects
• Moving parts to inventory
• Read customer work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be shipped
• Help in loading and unloading of trucks
• Match and review purchase orders to packing lists to make sure all required items are included

Qualifications

• Shipping and receiving experience
• Familiar with Bills of Landing and UPS
• Operate fork lift and pallet jack
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Demonstrated ability to read and follow verbal/written instructions
• US citizen or permanent residence
• Able to speak, read and write English
