Responsible for packaging and shipping of all products from the factory to our suppliers and customers. Continue to promote KAITEKI values creating and maintaining a positive work environment, which is conducive to a stable, growing and continually improving workforce. Ensure a safe workplace, efficient production processes, minimization of downtime, as well as a clean and orderly production area.
Principal Accountabilities - Package clean parts in appropriate packaging per specifications
- Create and apply labels as required
- Review and ensure paperwork is complete and accurate
- Store parts in finished goods inventory as necessary
- Package parts into shipping containers using appropriate packaging
- Ensure quantities and paperwork is correct
- Ensure parts are packaged safely and neatly organized
- Prepare shipping documentation using our computer systems
- Maintain appropriate levels of all shipping supplies
- Accurately completes all required paperwork
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements
- Provide good feedback and promote good communication
- Common Carrier oversees shipments
- Manages finished goods inventory
- Promote and live company culture
- Complete other duties as assigned
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have basic knowledge in ERP system.
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented and the ability to read paperwork and specifications.
- This position requires the physical demands listed below:
- Regularly stand, walk, and handle objects, tools, and controls.
- Regularly reach with arms, stoop, kneel and crouch.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
