JOB TITLE: Packing Set Up Person

DEPARTMENT: Packing, Plant 5

FLSA STATUS: Team Incentive

SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday 1st shift & Friday 1/2 day

Climate controlled

Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and may vary on a weekly basis

Packing furniture based on the customers' orders and production schedule.

• Pack furniture for shipment
• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Shrink wrap, build trays, carton furniture
• Pull all required materials in each package
• Scan tickets for accurate shipment tracking
• All other duties as assigned

• Previous warehouse or shipping experience is a plus
• Furniture manufacturing knowledge is a plus
• AS400 and basic computer skills

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work full time
• Able to work with other associates on a team production incentive
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Product may weigh up to 300 pounds. Moving and lifting of these products will involve assistance from other associates and/or lifting equipment
• Lifting product from floor to buggy and buggy to tray
• Able to use equipment such as electric pallet jack, hand trucks/dollies & heat gun for shrink wrapping
