Shipping and Receiving Clerk - 1st or 2nd shift

Some of the duties and qualifications include:

Pulls orders in preparation for prompt shipment. Properly packages product being shipped to protect product and minimize freight costs to the company.

Prepares proper records of shipments.

Receives incoming shipments; prepares records of receipt of the same; identifies materials with proper part number and stocks in proper warehouse location & inspect deliveries for damage.

This position is regularly scheduled to be on call on a rotating basis to cover nights, weekends and holidays. When scheduled on call, reports to plant and performs shipping and receiving and all necessary duties.

Daily housekeeping of shipping and receiving

Must be cross-trained in tool room and warehouse procedures in order to cover vacancies, as required. Must have clerical skills, including computer literacy. Basic carpentry skills preferred.

Works with Production Planners to expedite product being manufactured for customer orders.

Must be able to operate a forklift. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on regular and repetitive basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.58 - $20.83 per hour
