Set Up Operator Il (Cage)

Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking Set Up Operator II- for 3rd shift to work at our Cheraw, SC location. This position is responsible for producing quality parts for our customers.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Set up and Operate machinery for production of high quality parts to Customer specification
- Change tooling at the beginning of each production run
- Run production, making necessary adjustments
- Perform some mechanical maintenance to keep line running
- Verify sampling of parts for conformance to specification - Master all gages
- Component lot control and stock
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Required to follow all Company policies and procedures
- Other duties as required by Supervisor
Qualified candidates will have:- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to read manufacturing prints and make precision measurements as required
- Two (2) years' set up experience, preferred but not required
- Have the ability to safely lift 40 pounds
- Must be able to stand up to 8 hrs (break excluded)
- Manual Dexterity, Motor coordination, Hand-eye coordination, Spatial and form coordination
- Mech aptitude
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, mechanical devices
