Service Engineer / Welder

Statco-DSI has a longstanding reputation in the Food, Dairy, Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries we serve. We're recognized as one of the largest process equipment distributors and systems integrators for the sanitary processing market in North America, with eleven sales and engineering offices strategically located throughout the United States.

We are currently seeking a Service Engineer / stainless steel TIG welder / fabricator to work in one of our manufacturing sites located in Fontana, CA. The ideal candidate will have general machine shop knowledge, be able to read AutoCAD assembly drawings and able to use hand tools and fixtures for structural assemblies. As a self-starter, team player and fast learner this person will be joining a team of seasoned professionals to provide superior products to our customers.

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience operating as a commercial welder on stainless steel required
• Current and valid welding certification a plus but not required
• Experience working in manufacturing sites and with power tools
• Experience working with pneumatic valves and cylinders
• Experience working with PLC based controls
• Knowledge of best practices and safety procedures
• Ability to travel to customer sites for installation work
• Good driving record with clean MVR
