JSC Systems is seeking an experienced manager to lead the Service Department for our Tallahassee branch. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our service department. You will provide leadership to a team of service technicians who perform maintenance and inspections for electronic safety, security, and communications equipment in commercial buildings. You will be the primary customer contact regarding the ongoing performance of their systems including additions and changes to the services that we provide. Successful Service Managers maximize revenue growth and profitability by ensuring high levels of customer service through technician competence and effective external and internal communication. This is an ideal role for a strong people leader with exceptional communication and organizational skills.

The day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining excellent levels of customer service with our existing customer base and with new accounts
  • Driving revenue growth with a concentration on growing service contract sales
  • Managing details to enable profit and revenue improvement and growth
  • Leadership of technicians, service sales personnel and support staff
  • Maintaining positive employee relations by fostering open communications and effective conflict resolution
  • Monitoring of key performance metrics to ensure goals are met
  • Providing accurate and timely forecasting and performance data to management
  • Leading the service sales process with key customer visits and sales calls

Candidates are required to have the following experience:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in managing employees
  • Experience in the security integration, fire alarm installation, or low voltage contracting industry
  • Technical capabilities in electronic system troubleshooting and service
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar software platforms
  • College degree, associates degree or a mix of education and experience
