About us

El Patio is a restaurant serving to the community of Davis with authentic and delicious Mexican food for an affordable price.

We are looking for Cashiers/Server to process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures Responsibilities

• Take customer orders at the counter
• Receive payments and accurately present change to customers
• Pack food items, stock salsa bar and fill beverage refrigerator
• Function as the host/host of the restaurant
• Maintain a clean dining and work area. Lots of cleaning!
• Manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations
• Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period

Requirements

• Proof of work experience in retail cashier or sales (preferred)
• Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, money counters etc)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• Attention to detail and mathematical skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00-$21.00 per hour w/TIPS
