Job Description


As SVP, Group Account Director, you’ll take ownership in driving the impact of our business, leading the charge for us to become a more influential partner to our client CMO and division VPs, through the quality of our ideas, our creative work, and our data insights. Day to day, you will:

  • Eloquently articulating our views on digital business philosophies, keeping clients up to date on industry context
  • Actively establishing and growing senior-level client relationships based on trust, and leveraging these relationships in the development of business growth
  • Developing cutting-edge, insight-driven integrated marketing programs, leveraging expertise across media, with a focus on direct response marketing
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of changes in the telecom industry and how SMB, Mid-market, and Enterprise needs are adapting, and developing relevant case studies on client businesses
  • Deliver strategic client presentations and providing recommendations that are concise, insightful and on point
  • Connecting to broader agency intellectual capital and bringing best practices to client engagements
  • Strong executive presence when leading presentations with senior level clients to share strategies, POVs, and insights
  • Proactively determine where and how in-depth insight about the consumer’s attitude and behavior can help make the client’s marketing more successful
  • Persuasiveness and the confidence to excite clients to buy into powerful ideas:
    • A reputation for being exceptionally insightful, enterprising, articulate and convincing
  • A refined understanding of how marketing, creative, planning, media, technology and analytics integrate
  • Superior analytical skills, strategic thinking, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience using market research, AB testing, analytics, customer journey, and competitor analysis to form strategy around brand positioning and customer segmentation
  • Experience working cross functionally with exposure to all relevant marketing disciplines and channels throughout career

Qualifications


We’re looking for a talented SVP/Group Account Director with impressive work experience, including:

  • 15+ years of experience, including a strong, established history of direct response marketing, and client leadership in integrated marketing or a digital scope
  • Extensive marketing knowledge across media, including digital and email
  • Proven influence at the CMO level and beyond
  • Preferably experience in both advertising agency and client experience
