Coupa Software is a high-growth SaaS company and market leader in the BSM (Business Spend Management) space. We are in a major growth phase and wish to expand our Cloud Service Management team to help scale and support our leading cloud platform.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager with a strong Project and IT Service Management background and experience in a SaaS or product-focussed organization. This position is supported by the Director of Cloud Service Management. You will form part of a global team spread across 3 our primary centers in APAC, EMEA and the US.

Joining the team as a Senior Technical Program Manager will provide you the opportunity to make a huge impact. This is a highly visible role, leading technical programs and projects on behalf of the Coupa Cloud Operations team.
You will be supported through in-house training and certification on our Coupa University platform and through subscriptions with leading learning partners.

As a Sr. Technical Program Manager you will:

  • Join a global team supporting infrastructure and development projects in cloud and data center environments
  • Use your technical skills and natural leadership abilities to help define clear project goals and drive projects to a successful conclusion
  • Track project and program progress, produce status reports, track project risks and issues, and develop plans to mitigate them through collaboration with partner teams
  • Enhance project estimation and team capacity planning processes to ensure consistent and predictable project outcomes
  • Be responsible for the enhancement and automation of such processes as Availability Management, Service Metrics Reporting and others as deemed necessary
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through development and reviews of KPI dashboards related to project delivery and facilitate regular reviews with our partner teams

We’re looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager who:

  • Is experienced in managing projects involving modern SDLC methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices
  • Has knowledge of SRE, Cloud Engineering, DevOps and Security practices and experience working with leading cloud service providers and data center environments
  • Has 4+ years professional experience in a Project Management Office and holds a relevant project management certification
  • Has a passion for excellence, and is a natural and analytical problem solver. You should enjoy digging deep to understand issues and like solving hard problems, taking a data-driven approach
  • Is a confident communicator and can lead teams to achieve clearly-articulated and measurable outcomes
  • Has excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with cross-team dependencies and conflicting priorities
  • Has a strong sense of service ownership and personal accountability, and a well developed bias for action
  • Is experienced in Jira, Confluence, Asana, Excel, Project, Tableau and similar tools
