This position may be located in Quad City Airport - ADV Lab or Intelligent Solutions Group per the hiring manager's discretion. his may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.

The Senior Product Site Reliability Engineer position in ISG is responsible for the reliability, resiliency, and security of the Data Platform Batch components and APIs.

• Broad understanding of technology and develops creative solutions for resiliency, reliability, and security for applications.
• Has an ability to anticipate product failure and automate solutions for failure modes and recovery.
• Leads in the solution of complex problems within a component or team for resiliency, reliability, and security by identifying and organizing necessary resources. Acts as technical advisor for the team.
• Evaluates and implements enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, performance, and security of software applications.
• Participates in problem post mortems in order to understand issues, learn from issues, and share any changes in automation, recovery, and documentation with other site reliability engineers.

• 5 or more years of software development experience including knowledge of computer science/engineering
• 4 or more years of experience in developing applications using AWS services (RDS, EC2, S3, SQS, Kinesis, etc.)
• 4 or more years of experience with Drone, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools
• 4 or more years of ISG Java and Scala standards, practices, and expertise
• Strong communication and leadership skills including relationship management and conflict management skills

• Experience with Scala
• Experience with other ISG applications and components (Device Management, Terminals, Machine Data APIs, etc)
• Experience with Terraform or other cloud agnostic tools
• Experience developing with Java, Python, JavaScript, or other common languages used in AWS
• Working with offshore development teams
