The Role
AXS is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our team in Los Angeles. The Solutions Architect provides vision and leadership to define fan engagement email marketing automations that successfully build profitable, long-term fan relationships while ensuring that all campaigns are aligned with the company's overall strategy, branding, and marketing and sales goals.
- Design, build, and deliver tailored Salesforce email marketing and push notification solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other integrated technologies/data platforms
- Build & execute salesforce marketing cloud automations supporting pre, during, post event email marketing strategies.
- Create and edit data extensions for email marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to build, iterate, and improve existing or new processes and functions
- Partner with Product, Analytics and Marketing in the implementation of automated workflows, triggers, and activation of other channels within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Implement processes for other divisions for e-mail requests, communication of KPIs & strategy
- Manage/mentor email marketing specialists, helping them grow in their career
- Champion continuous advancement of email marketing capabilities including targeting, and personalization in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, designers, developers, business teams at the direction of department leadership.
What You'll Do
- Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and Marketing Cloud Consultant certifications desired
- Experience configuring Email Studio (including Contact Builder, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder) required
- Experience configuring additional Marketing Cloud functionality (Audience Builder, Advertising Studio, Audience Studio)
- Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud foundational knowledge highly desired
- Sales Cloud Consultant and Service Cloud Consultant Certifications desired
- At least 3 years of experience with technical implementations
- Advanced experience with Salesforce Marketing configurations
- A solid background in CRM, campaign process design and implementations
- Creation of logic for data ingestion & extensions
- Experience with the Sales/Service Cloud to Marketing Cloud connector desired
- Experience with diagramming software required (LucidCharts, Visio, etc)
- Experience in the marketing industry desired
- Strong aptitude toward communicating complex business and technical concepts using visualization and modeling aids. Ability to conceptualize and design sophisticated wireframes, workflows, and diagrams
- Demonstrated ability to conduct business requirement discovery and tailor concise messaging for all layers of a customer organization from execution layer to c-suite.
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
- Specializes in gathering and analyzing information and designing comprehensive solutions that are flexible and adaptable
- 2-3 years' experience in email marketing management
- Ability to present the solution to both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, presentation and communication skills.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
