Job Description

The ideal candidate can expect the following:

Responsibilities

  • Help lead the design, architecture, and execution of fluid and responsive web applications.

  • 5 years of experience in front-end javascript and building web applications with technologies like React, Angular, and Vue

  • Proficient understanding of JavaScript unit testing framework and libraries, such as Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, Jest

  • Working Knowledge of MongoDB/MySQL

  • Extensive experience programming and dynamic web application languages

  • Able to work with back-end developers on API design

  • Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques

  • Execute end-to-end ownership and accountability over the projects you work on

  • Demonstrated experience shipping software as part of a small team

  • A willingness to be a broad generalist, wear many hats, and react to changing requirements

  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks, work autonomously, understand technical trade-offs


Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-8 years in a similar or related role.

  • Strong problem solving skills.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate, influence and work as part of a team.

  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

  • Experience in prioritizing feature requests and challenging institutional thinking.

  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.

  • Good eye for user experience and a good understanding of wireframing, user interaction and visual design.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with Asana, ProductPlan, and Miro is a plus.

  • Deftly navigating a path down the middle between business and technology to find the best win/win solution.

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Business Management, or Related Field

  • Bonus if you have a background in or a strong interest in the Performing Arts Industry and/or a box office, ticketing or a related live event space.


Additional Information

This is a full time job with competitive salary + benefits, including 401K. Compensation is competitive. Equity may be available. Some nights/weekends may be required as needed.
