Hernandez Heating and Cooling, in Pittsburgh’s South Hills, is looking to hire a full-time Senior Service Technician to represent our customer-focused values while working in our clients' homes and businesses. The qualified candidate will perform maintenance, diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems in both residential and commercial environments. We are looking for a highly skilled technician that wants to build a successful long-term career with us.

As a Senior Service Technician at Hernandez Heating and Cooling you will:

be universally certified in refrigeration and have at least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting, service, repair, maintenance, and installation of residential and commercial HVAC equipment

demonstrate strong customer service skills and present yourself professionally. Sales experience is a plusl

exhibit a good work ethic; and are organized and efficient while taking pride in your work:

stay up-to-date on HVAC technologies, tools, and techniques

have the ability to use computer technology for documenting and invoicing

travel to customer sites to provide on-the-Job training and quality control when needed. Assist other technicians, in-person or by phone, as needed

Requirements for the Successful Candidate:

Significant Residential HVAC field experience with strong troubleshooting and skills, EPA Certified and NATE Certified (Core & 1+ Specialty) is required. If not in possession of NATE Certification, must be able to earn certification before on-boarding.

Must possess strong mechanical and electrical ability with excellent communication skills.

Must be people-oriented with the ability to get along with numerous personality types in a small group environment.

Be Serious About Safety in all aspects, ensuring trainees are always safe.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.

Valid driver’s license a must with a good driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
